Digital electrocardiograph based on a notebook Software for digital ECG recorder is used to record, visualize and store the ECG data acquired via a common serial port.

Software operates in two modes:
  1. Input mode (real time mode);
  2. Stored data view mode.

In a real time mode software offers following options:

  • ECG data acquisition via a serial port from input module;
  • Digital signal processing;
  • Visualization on display up to 12 channels of the ECG;
  • Calculation and depiction of the rhythm diagram;
  • Calculation and depiction of the heart rate graph.

In the data view mode software offers following options:

ECG and rhythm
  • Review of the whole ECG and rhythm records (up to some hours);
  • Parameters changing of an ECG depiction (sensibility, rate, channels set);
  • Measuring time intervals and voltage with cursors;
Averaged complex
  • Calculation and depiction of the mean complex for all leads and estimation of the its basic parameters;
  • Review and editing of the patient personal data;
Dynamics
  • Review of the ECG dynamic (simultaneous depiction of the mean complex for all leads for different time records of the ECG);
  • Printing ECG records and other graphic data.
The application is an OLE server and can interact with applications supporting OLE-technology such as the Microsoft Word, etc.

Software was developed with MS Visual C++, MFC and ATL and operates under MS Windows NT/98/2000
